Credentials
Maria has completed a number of supervision training courses in addition to that of her clinical training, over the years. As Placement Co-ordinator, she managed the supervisory assessment of the counselling psychologist trainees during their doctoral training. This involved placement visits, dealing with issues on placement as well as mid-term and end of term assessments of the supervisee’s progress and effective use of supervision.  In clinical practice, she has supervised counsellors, assistant psychologists, psychologists in training, qualified counselling and clinical psychologists.  She has delivered individual and group supervision to Nurses, Support workers and Prison Officers.  She has been consulted in the care and support of staff by managers.
