Infant loss, Grief and trauma associated with pregnancy, birth and sudden infant death. 

Dr Thompson is an accredited counselling professional with The Infant Loss Association to support parents that have experienced loss and trauma due to:

termination (for medical or personal reasons), miscarriage(s) (spontaneous pregnancy loss before 24 weeks),
stillbirth (infant loss whilst in Utero, after 24 weeks) neonatal loss (death for any reason of a baby after birth but before 24 weeks) sudden infant death syndrome - SIDS or cot death (death with no known cause) or accidental death (death caused by accident).
